SIGGRAPH: PIXEL FARM OFFERS NEW TRACKING SOLUTION
The Pixel Farm is using its new, node-based flowgraph architecture, which it says is easy to learn and operate. The architecture provides a logical visual overview of tracking workflows and gives artists a procedural, nonlinear environment in which to experiment non-destructively with different approaches to a shot.
The 64-bit application runs natively on OS X, Windows and Linux, and the architecture is underpinned with metadata management, fully-integrated Python scripting and workflow customization capabilities. Other features include rolling shutter correction and image-distortion tools. The app’s flowgraph workflow will be familiar to artists who use node-based compositing and effects software.
