SUPER BOWL: THE MILL BUILDS BUDWEISER'S 'BRIDGE'

DDB Chicago conceived the spot, which was produced by aWhitelabelProduct and director Paul Middleditch. In the commercial, a small town’s bridge has been destroyed. The residents don’t seem to care – not until the realize the Budweiser truck won’t be able to make its delivery. Together, they form a human bridge, which allows the truck to pass over the gorge.

Panic & Bob Editing’s David Baxter cut the spot, with assistance from Tyler Hopkins.

The Mill NY used Autodesk Flame, Flare, Combustion and XSI, along with Mental Ray and Massive on the project. Studio credits include producer Camila DeBiaggi, shoot supervisors Yann Mabille and Westley Sarokin, Flame lead Westley Sarokin, 3D lead Vincent Baertsoen, and Flame assistants Gigi Ng, Greg Cutler, Pete Rypstra and David Birkill. The 3D team included Graham Clark, Marco Iozzi, Alek Vacura and Peter Devlin.

Stefan Sonnenfeld of Company 3 in Los Angeles served as colorist on the project.

Elias composers Jonathan Elias and Dave Gold created the Wild West-inspired track.
