VES RELEASES VISUAL EFFECTS HANDBOOK
July 29, 2010
The book was written by 89 leading VFX practitioners and was edited by VES chairman/VFX supervisor Jeffrey A. Okun and VFX producer Susan Zwerman. It is available to anyone who wants to learn or needs to know about the art and science of visual effects.

The book covers pre-production, production, and post production, and outlines procedures and solutions artists, producers, and supervisors need to know. In addition to hard facts and proven methods, the book contains lessons, tricks, short cuts, and wisdom garnered throughout the history of visual effects.

Stereoscopic moviemaking, color management, and digital intermediates are all covered, as are interactive games and animation.

The VES Handbook of Visual Effects is available at Amazon.com and other online bookstores.
