AlphaDogs posts 'Three Chocolatiers'
July 28, 2011

BURBANK — AlphaDogs Post Production (www.4alphadogs.com) has completed work on The Three Chocolatiers, new reality series airing on The Food Network. The show takes TV viewers inside Beverly Hills chocolate shop, Generations of Lee Gelfond.

AlphaDogs served as a one-stop shop for the series, with company president/founder Terence Curren handling color grading using Avid Symphony. Since the show was file based, the studio was able to work with native camera resolutions and didn’t have to recapture any material. The fact that most of the footage was captured in a controlled lighting situation allowed Curren to really finesse colors as opposed to just fixing them.

Re-recording mixer Marcus Pardo handled the audio post using Avid Pro Tools|HD with Waves and Cedar plug-ins. In addition to sweetening, he also created sound design for the main title sequence.

The series is produced by Valerie Chow and Michael Brockhoff of TigerDog TV.
