CSS audio talent recognized with 5 Emmy nominations

HOLLYWOOD — Artists from CSS Studios’ (www.css-studios.comTodd-AO and Sound One facilities have earned five Emmy nominations for their sound work. The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented in September, and the following is a re-cap of the programs that received audio post services from the studios:

The CSI: NY episode “Life Sentence” and the Nikita episode “Pandora” were both nominated in the “Outstanding Sound Editing For A Series” category.

The Mad Men episode “The Suitcase” was nominated in the “Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (One Hour)” category.

In the “Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Miniseries Or A Movie” category, “Part Five” of the HBO show Mildred Pierce was nominated.

And in the “Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (Half-Hour) And Animation” category, the “Road To The North Pole” episode of Family Guy was nominated.
