January 17, 2011

LOS ANGELES — Creative editorial boutique Jump has signed hybrid producer Damon Webster as EP for its LA office, which opened last year. Webster can handle interactive, experiential, print, broadcast, social media, broadband, and online content production projects, and has spent more than 15 years on the agency and production sides of the advertising business.

His credits include work with Acura, Apple, BMW, Capitol Records, Coca-Cola, Coors Light, Gold's Gym, Hewlett-Packard, and Kentucky Fried Chicken, among many others. He has also produced music videos, most notably for American Idol.

Prior to joining Jump, Webster freelance produced broadcast campaigns and immersed himself in the worlds of new media and social networking. Prior to that, he spent nine years as the head of production at Saatchi & Saatchi LA, where he rebuilt the broadcast production department and its in-house post facility. He has also spent time at Crispin Porter + Bogusky and 180 LA, and worked as a freelance producer for nearly a decade.
