Emmy-winner Trevor Morris opens new scoring stage

SANTA MONICA — Emmy Award-winning composer Trevor Morris recently built out a new scoring studio. Trevor Morris Music’s new scoring studio is based around a Euphonix System 5 console and two Avid Pro Tools|HD rigs. He also has an assortment of Lexicon, dbx, and Manley outboard gear.

Morris recently won his second Emmy. His work on Showtime’s The Borgias was honored in the “Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music” category. On the film side, Morris’s list of credits includes contributions to Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, The Hills Have Eyes II, The Island, Shark Tale, Something’s Gotta Give, The Last Samurai, Bad Boys II, and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse. Most recently, Morris created the epic score for the action-packed Relativity film, Immortals, which is due out in November .
