Grass Valley names new executive team

SAN FRANCISCO — Grass Valley (www.grassvalley.com) has introduced a new executive team, which will be headquartered in San Francisco. The announcement follows the company’s recent acquisition by Francisco Partners.

Leading the team as president and CEO is Alain Andreoli, who was most recently an operating partner at Francisco Partners. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at several technology companies, including Sun Microsystems Europe, Hubwoo, Xiotech, McData, Verio, and Storagetek.

Jeff Rosica stays on as executive VP and chief sales & marketing officer.  He previously served as a senior vice president and the division head for the organization.
 
Ian Halifax is serving as executive VP and CFO, responsible for all G&A functions, including finance and accounting, human resources, legal and IT. He was most recently CFO at Wind River Systems, and prior to that, held CFO roles at Micromuse and Macrovision.
 
Based in Beaverton, OR, Charlie Dunn is the senior VP and GM of the editing, servers & storage (ESS) product group.

Marcel Koutstaal is based in Breda, The Netherlands, and serves as senior VP/GM of the cameras product group.

Working from Nevada City, CA, Martin Fry, is the senior VP and GM of the routing & signal management (RSM) product group. Also in Nevada City is Scott Murray, senior VP/GM of the live production solutions (LPS) product group. And Dave Perillo is in Nevada City too, serving as senior VP of global operations.
