PigFactory appoints new creative director

LOS ANGELES — Independent publishing and licensing company PigFactory Music has named Debra Delshad Banks as its new creative director for TV/film/advertising music. She will be responsible for placing entries from the company’s catalog within TV shows, promos, commercials, feature films, trailers, new media projects.

Delshad Banks began her career in music publishing, working for a number of entertainment lawyers. She became familiar with synchronization deals, and focused on recovering synchronization income from unlicensed and outstanding copyright uses. Her most recent position was at Sugaroo, where she served as director, TV, film and advertising music.
