AUSTIN, TX — Los Angeles-based PrimalScream (www.primalscreammusic.com), which creates original music and sound for a range of media, has opened a new location in Austin. The company’s founder and creative director Nicole Dionne will work with both studios to produce music and sound for advertising, film and television promotions.
The studio took on the expansion in an effort to tap the musical talent available in Austin, as well as Dionne’s desire to provide clients with increased access to the PrimalScream team. The Austin office is located within Cedar Creek Recording, which has played host to numerous bands, songwriters, and musicians from varying genres for 30 years.
“Austin and Los Angeles are the perfect complement for tapping the best music talent available for motion media and are both incredible creative hotbeds,” says Dionne. “We searched the country for PrimalScream Music’s second home and decided on Austin and Cedar Creek Recording for so many reasons, including being an exceptional place for our clients to visit and work.”
