Prime Focus' Clear uses cloud model
April 9, 2011

LAS VEGAS — At NAB, Prime Focus Technologies (www.primefocustechnologies.com) is showing Clear, its hybrid-cloud, multi-platform content operations and workflow management solution. Clear’s scalable global digital pipeline enhances collaboration, productivity and asset utilization, increasing monetization opportunities, and offering valuable anywhere/anytime cost efficiencies with little upfront capital expenditure.

Prime Focus says Clear can enable concurrent work processes and allow for multiplatform fulfillment at no extra cost. It can also help reduce media processing costs by as much as 30 percent.

The company will use an iPad to demonstrate mobile broadcast production on the fly. In addition, Prime Focus' Ramki Sankaranarayanan will speak on a panel titled “The Years Ahead for Cloud Computing.” The panel will take place on Monday at 5pm in room N232 of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
