Session to look at extreme slow motion capture

LAS VEGAS — I-Movix CEO Laurent Renard and project manager David Bourgeois will team up with Fletcher Sports’ VP Dan Grainge present the session "Extreme Slow Motion: When Bringing the Invisible to Light Becomes a Breeze" at the NAB show.

I-Movix (www.i-movix.com) is a Belgian company that specializes in extreme slow motion (from 150 to 10,000 fps) capture. The company's SprintCam line is designed for broadcast integration, providing ultra slow motion, high frame rates and instant replay.

The session will take place on Wednesday, April 13, from 9am to 11am. It will look at the state of extreme slow-motion in broadcasting, as well as the technical and operational factors for broadcasters working with the latest generation of turnkey ultra slow-motion systems.

Dan Grainge will present a user's perspective based on Fletcher Sports’ work with some of the US's premier sports and entertainment events.
