The Core launches editorial division

LOS ANGELES — Production studio The Core has launched a new editorial division that’s headed by executive producer/partner Chad Feeback and creative director/partner Chris Hoffman. Hard Cut Editorial (www.hardcut.la) has already posted projects for Visa, Yahoo!, HTC mobile and Brut Cologne. 

“We work on many jobs where the shoot, edit, graphics and finishing are all handled by different vendors,” explains Hoffman. “This tends to make things complicated for everyone involved. We aim to simplify the process for our clients by handling the edit and graphics concurrently.”

Hard Cut had already been providing editorial services for clients. The formal division is a way of highlighting the studio’s talent pool, which includes Jess Carfield, Allen Colombo, Agathe Fay, Desireh Sedaghat, and Harry Walsh.

Jess Carfield brings experience in the music video world while Allen Colombo has a combination of commercial and motion graphics credits. Agathe Fay has an extensive broadcast-related background, and Desireh Sedaghat has worked with production companies and corporate clients. Harry Walsh has contributed to motion graphics and independent projects.
