The Mill launches design division

LONDON — Mill Studio has launched a new design department that is offering creative direction, art direction, character design, type design, print, branding and identity, concept/style frames and storyboarding services. Mill Design includes the talents of creative director Carl Addy, head of print Ross Urien, and designer Adam Brandon. The division will also be able to call on resources from other Mill locations on a project-by-project basis.

“Mill Studio has been collaborating on design projects for some time now and the official launch of Mill Design is a natural extension of what we already do in terms of developing innovate and creative design ideas,” notes managing director, Darren O'Kelly. “Our design team will enable us to continue to offer our diverse range of creative solutions across our business and is a great addition to Mill Studio and the whole of the Mill Group.”

Luke Colson, head of Mill Studio, adds that the company hopes to double its in-house design talent in the coming months.
