LAS VEGAS — Winnipeg-based Thinkbox Software (www.thinkboxsoftware.com) set up a demo suite at the Las Vegas Hilton this week, where the company showed Version 5.0 of its Deadline 5.0 renderfarm management solution. Deadline works with Windows, Linux and Mac OSX-based render farms of all sizes and running different rendering packages. 

The new Remote Mode in Version 5.0 allows companies to control and manage large global render farms across multiple worldwide facilities, from one remote office. The Deadline Mobile app for iPhone and Android enables users to monitor their Deadline jobs from anywhere. Auto Configuration helps improve rollout times and repository relocations. User security has been improved, as has the monitor interface. 

Thinkbox Software hosted training sessions and demos throughout the week of NAB in the Country Club Classic Suite on the Las Vegas Hilton.
