Tool adds interactive talent
October 3, 2011

NEW YORK — Bi-coastal production company Tool (www.toolofna.com) is hoping to further establish itself as an interactive production resource for the advertising industry with the recent hiring of Bartek Drozdz. The WebGL pioneer/interactive developer will serve as the company’s in-house creative technologist and tech director, and will work with Tool's roster of directors to execute projects across the Web, mobile and interactive installations.

Drozdz has more than 10 years of experience in interactive development at shops like Fantasy Interactive and North Kingdom. He began his career as a Flash developer, and then transitioned to HTML5, later becoming a pioneer in WebGL and creating a 3D engine called J3D. He runs the popular Everyday 3D blog, where he publishes demos and experiments, exploring uses of realtime, interactive 3D online.
