UK's Halo expands, adds mixing stages
September 29, 2011

LONDON — Halo Post Production (www.halopostproduction.com) has taken possession of 25 Noel Street, which was previously occupied by MPC, and more recently Pepper Post Production. The move expands the studio’s services into film sound, providing it with one of the area’s largest film mixing stages.

The expansion into the 10,000-square-foot space includes the addition of three sound suites, offline cutting rooms, and online editing and grading suites. The sound studios are now open, and the remainder of the facility will open in stages from now through January.

Studio One and Three will have their Dolby licenses reinstated, and there are upgrades planned to offer 7.1 surround sound services, allowing Halo to take on features, theatrical trailers, and commercials. The other studios will also be updated for 5.1 television work.
