Autodesk releases 20th Anniversary Flame
October 31, 2012
SAN RAFAEL, CA — Autodesk (www.autodesk.com) has released Flame 20th Anniversary Edition, a redesign of its VFX software. The release was announced at the 2012 IBC show in Amsterdam in September and integrates visual effects, editorial and realtime color grading.

Updates to the software include a new creative workspace that closely links post production tools. The timeline is now available at the top level of the application, allowing artists to more easily accomplish editorial tasks and move effortlessly between creative and editorial tools. A re-engineered GPU/CPU processing pipeline has been implemented for faster compositing and visual effects development in Batch and Action.

The 20th Anniversary edition and extension releases are now available to Autodesk Subscription customers.
