Cut + Run edits Puma's latest
June 25, 2012
NEW YORK – Cut + Run (www.cutandrun.tv) editor Gary Knight recently completed work on a new spot for Puma. Directed by Prettybird’s Paul Hunter for Droga5, the commercial features athletes Fernando Alonso, Rickie Fowler, Yuvraj Singh, and Sergio Agüero on a large treadmill, running to keep up with the pace.

As the machine steadily speeds up, the athletes are, one by one, snapped off the machine by elastic harnesses. As the last athlete fails, the camera pans to the right, showing world record holder Usain Bolt leisurely jogging along.

Alexander Schildt executive produced Last Man Running for German production company Tempomedia Schildt EP. The Mill handled visual effects.

Squeak E. Clean’s Brock Babcock and David Voyzey composed music for the commercial, which was sound design and mixed at Sound Lounge in NYC.
