BOSTON – The latest version of EditShare Ark, the disk and tape backup and archiving solution from EditShare (www.editshare.com), is now shipping. The new EditShare Ark V188.8.131.52 release features numerous enhancements, including a new user interface that displays extensive information about Ark system activity support for additional tape loaders, and more options for configuring network interfaces to maximize performance across the EditShare tiered storage platform.
“Protecting your assets is essential, but accessibility is equally important,” says EditShare founder and CEO Andy Liebman. “Because Ark is directly integrated into EditShare’s end-to-end tapeless workflow products, archived content can be easily searched in our Flow Media Asset Management tools, retrieved and brought back directly onto production storage. The new interface also provides realtime updates on archive performance and continuous system health monitoring.”
EditShare Ark V184.108.40.206 adds Quantum Superloader 3, Scalar i40 and i80 solutions, Spectra Logic Spectra T50e, and PowerVault 124T Tape Autoloader to its list of supported tape libraries. The new release is free to current EditShare Ark V2 customers with a valid maintenance contract.
