January 20, 2012
LOS ANGELES — Empire Post Media (www.empirepostmedia.com), a 3D TV content developer, producer, 2D to 3D converter and 3D distributor, has entered into a contract to explore the potential for a variety of media products based on the treatment "In Search of Yamashita's Gold."

The title is a true story about the exploits of a modern day treasure hunter who is seeking to recover millions of ounces of gold buried by the Japanese as they retreated from the Philippines at the end of World War II. According to Empire CEO, Peter Dunn, the contract provides for a feasibility study to develop and expand the treatment throughout several different formats, including a feature film, documentary, television series, videogame and book.
