IBC 2012: Emotion3D's AE plug-ins aid S3D workflows
September 6, 2012
AMSTERDAM – Vienna, Austria’s Emotion3D GmbH offers tools for editing shot 3D content. The company is hosting private demos of its Stereoscopic Suite X2 plug-ins at this year’s IBC show in Amsterdam. The plug-ins feature numerous enhancements for working with stereoscopic material, bringing capabilities to the Adobe After Effects platform that were previously only available on turnkey systems costing much more.

New functions available in the SSX2 include automatic stereoscopic geometry corrections, improved disparity map generation and depth budget adjustment, depth transitions for reduced eye strain between cuts of differing depth, and new visualization tools and specialized plug-ins for a more efficient stereoscopic workflow. SSX2 also includes quality improvements to its Stereo‐to‐Multiview conversion feature for repurposing stereoscopic material for glasses‐free (auto‐stereoscopic) content delivery platforms.

Emotion3D’s SSX2 plug-ins are available for download on the company’s Website (www.emotion3d.tv). Pricing is $9,995 per license.
