Lucky Post adds sound talent
August 27, 2012
DALLAS — Sound designer and mixer Scottie Richardson has joined Lucky Post (www.lucky-post.com), here. He was part of the Academy Award-winning sound team that worked on the animated short, The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, directed by William Joyce and Brandon Oldenburg. Richardson’s career also includes providing sound design and audio post services for commercials and television programs such as Walker, Texas Ranger.

Having worked in numerous Russ Berger-designed facilities in the past, Richardson is excited to join Lucky Post, which was entirely designed by the acoustician/architect. He worked along side Berger to develop an accredited engineering degree at a local community college. He later spent seven years at Video Post & Transfer, where he met editor/designer Sai Selvarajan, who he rejoins at Lucky Post. Prior to his move to Lucky Post, he spent nine years at Fast Cuts.
