RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO — Stockmusic.com, the music and sound effects download division of Sound Ideas, has purchased the assets of Sonomic, a royalty-free download site that caters to the professional audio industry. The Sonomic site is now closed to new online purchases and all inquiries and requests are being referred directly to StockMusic.com.

StockMusic.com provides online download access to the complete Sound Ideas Sound Effects Library. This includes over 110,000 audio files, more than 12,700 royalty-free music tracks on 300 CDs, and in excess of 17,000 production elements. StockMusic.com also provides a free downloads section for their registered members.
