NEW YORK — The Collider Digital Production Conference will debut in New York City this June, giving attendees a chance to participate in VFX-, animation- and digital production-themed presentations, panels, master classes and screenings, as well as a job fair.
Scheduled to take place June 9 through 11, the event is one of the first of its kind on the East Coast and comes as a time when there is much controversy over value of visual effects. Effects house and animation studios are confronting major issues around business practices, staffing and the impact of new technology. Collider will feature over 40 expert speakers and hopes to attract as many as 1,000 creative, production and management professionals from the advertising, TV, feature film, gaming and interactive industries.
