VFX vet Cary Flaum joins Shilo

NEW YORK/LA JOLLA, CA — Veteran VFX producer and post production supervisor Cary Flaum has joined creative production company (www.shilo.tv) as executive producer and head of production. His with duties will span Shilo’s national and international business. 

Flaum has worked in production and post for film, commercials, broadcast, music videos and experiential projects. He brings expertise in VFX, design, motion graphics, CG and all facets of editorial and finishing. Most recently, he was freelancing in his native New York City, working with top film studios, post houses and independent artists.  Through Nice Shoes, he was the post producer for a 180-degree format live show open for Maybelline and for spots for Google TV. He was also the post production supervisor for the immersive film experience directed by Kanye West from Good Company.  

Between 1999 and 2011, Flaum built a solid track record in the film and television industry through senior staff production and management positions with Smoke and Mirrors, Perception, Mad.house and Version 2.
