WIFV & Capital Audio Post to present 'Audio Benefits' panel

MERRIFIELD, VA — On June 18 at 6.30pm, Women in Film and Video will present “Audio and How It Can Benefit Your Production,” a panel discussion hosted by Capital Audio Post (www.capitalaudiopost.com). The panel will include experts from different areas of the production and post production field, each of whom will talk about sound, its importance, and its integration into a production, be it a feature film, reality show, commercial, documentary or corporate promo.  

Panelists will include:  
- Ali Felix, TV executive with Catshot Creative (Wild: World’s Deadliest series, Lockdown, Jesus Revealed)

- Greg Smith, location sound recordist and A.U. instructor (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Blue Planet)

- Frank Scheuring, sound editor/mixer with Capital Audio Post (Planet Earth, Explorer, Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan)

- Chip Sovek, sound editor/mixer with Capital Audio Post (DC Cupcakes, Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan, Stories From the Vault)

Guests can take a tour of Capital Audio Post,as well as network and enjoy appetizers and beverages. Seating is limited, so RSVP to membership@wifv.org. This event is free to current WIFV members and $10 for non-members.
