Dell introduces new 15-inch mobile workstation
ROUND ROCK, TX — Dell has introduced a new mobile workstation with its Precision M2800 (www.dell.com/precision-m2800). The 15-inch mobile workstation offers ISV-certified and optimized performance and dependability at a price of just $1,199, making it one of the most affordable 15-inch mobile workstations on the market.

The M2800 helps to bridge the gap between business-class laptops and mobile workstations by offering an affordable ISV-certified system with professional graphics and processors. The release is targeting at engineers, designers and video editors, and can be configured with fourth-generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, AMD FirePro W4170M graphics with 2GB of dedicated GDDR5 video memory, up to 16GB of system memory, and up to 1TB of storage. The unit features a 15.6-inch UltraSharp display, external multi-monitor support and docking compatibilities.
 


To maximize performance of CAD, digital content creation and editing software, the M2800 will be ISV-certified for leading applications from Autodesk and others when it ships this spring. In addition, the M2800 comes with Dell Precision Performance Optimizer (DPPO), which automatically adjusts system settings for optimizing specific applications.
