MediaSilo improves cloud-based collaborative platform

BOSTON — At NAB 2015 in Las Vegas, MediaSilo (www.mediasilo.com), the developer of a cloud-based collaboration and media management platform, is unveiling the sixth generation of its core platform.

MediaSilo allows teams from two to 2,000 to collaborate on media projects from anywhere in the world while managing a central library of media in the cloud. The new Version 6 release features a newly-redesigned user interface, as well as integration with Aspera for faster file transfer. The integration offers Aspera as a 100 percent managed, private, and secure file transfer service to enable faster file uploads and downloads in all MediaSilo tools, including the company's popular review, approval, and distribution feature, QuickLinks.

Also new is the ability to create QuickSites, which serve as turnkey customizable branded microsites for displaying hosted media. MediaSilo users can showcase their media in customized microsites with just a few clicks.

Under the covers, MediaSilo 6 is now even more secure, with updated, role-based permissions, improved tracking analytics, and new visible video features.

“We're excited about this milestone release, which strongly emphasizes our belief that tools should get out of the way of being creative,” says Kai Pradel, CEO at MediaSilo. “We look forward to release MediaSilo 6 to our thousands of users to help them continue to do great work.”
