Spang TV expands to West Coast

RICHMOND, VA — Commercial production company Spang TV (www.spangtv.com), here, has expanded to the West Coast by teaming with director Andrews Jenkins, who is based in Los Angeles. Spang is known for its work for American Airlines, MasterCard and Virginia Lottery.

Jenkins has worked on campaigns for Mercedes, Adidas, Budweiser and ESPN. He recently directed a campaign for WWE airing across NBC/Universal’s broadcast networks, cable channels and digital outlets. The project was shot in Nashville and Memphis and features fans and WWE stars. Jenkins employed a Phantom camera for the campaign.

“Jenkins doesn't shy away from these kinds of amplified visual spectacles,” says Melanie Cox, Spang founder and executive producer, “often with results that will leave the viewer slack-jawed.”

But his reel is also brimming with wry, off-beat humor and a comedian's sense of timing, making him a great fit for a wide spectrum of clients, she adds. “We’re so excited to have this incredible talent as we begin to build Spang TV’s West Coast presence.”
