Timber adds effects supervisor, West Coast representation

SANTA MONICA — Design and digital production shop Timber (www.timber.net) recently moved into a new and expanded studio in Santa Monica. The facility, which is celebrating its first anniversary, has also added digital effects supervisor Nicholas Hiegel (pictured), and the team at Reber Covington for West Coast representation.

Timber provides a wide range of production services, from animation and live action to VFX and finishing for branded projects. Hiegel brings a wealth of experience in creating digital content, including work on over 20 VFX-driven feature films. His credits include Star Trek into Darkness, Hugo, Harry Potter ( Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows), Tron Legacy and both Clash and Wrath of The Titans. He’s also lent his talent and expertise to television series and short form content. In addition to digital effects supervision, Hiegel’s specialties include miniature and creature effects. 

Timber’s credits over the past year includes work for UGG, 1-800 Contacts, Lady Gaga, Bank of America Red with U2, Beats By Dre, Taylor Swift, Old Spice, Hyundai, Visa and Chevy.
