LightHouse Films completes Walking War Robots spot

NEW YORK — LightHouse Films (www.LHFNY.com) recently directed and produced a new spot for Pixonic and its popular Walking War Robots mobile game. Father's Day takes an unconventional twist at portraying shooter gameplay, focusing instead on how the multiplayer game actually brings family members together.

LightHouse Films acted as an agency partner to Pixonic, providing copywriting, casting, production editorial and post. The :30 spot features a dad playing the game on his phone. He occasionally spys on his son, who is supposed to be upstairs studying. Ultimately, he catches the boy playing the game too, but understands the excitement.

The spot was directed by Ray Zablocki and shot by Albert Salas using Arri’s Alexa Mini with Cooke S4/i lenses. Graeme Hagan edited the project using Adobe Premiere. After Effects was used for VFX.

Natacha Ikoli of Color Collective handled color correction. The spot feature sound design by  Joseph Kelly and music by Chris Pennie. Gigantic Studios Kevin Peters mixed the project.
