Nimia now offering National Geographic Creative media

SEATTLE — Nimia (www.nimia.com), a technology platform that makes it easy for producers and consumers of digital video to browse, license, and distribute high-end footage, and National Geographic Creative, a leader in nature photography and videography, have formed a content distribution partnership. Customers can now shop National Geographic Creative on Nimia.

The Nimia collection already contains premium cinematography that has been licensed by Apple, Microsoft, Kanya West’s record label, and others. The site works with thousands of influential filmmakers around the world, and with the National Geographic Creative partnership, adds over 50,000 stock footage files from over 100 filmmakers.

Nimia’s rights-management platform offers a number of licensing options, including direct licensing, e-commerce embedding, and syndication, in addition to standard stock footage distribution.
