Elaine Cantwell named chief creative officer of Broadway Video

NEW YORK CITY — Broadway Video recently named Elaine Cantwell chief creative officer. The company was founded by Lorne Michaels during Saturday Night Live’s infancy and continues to be a significant contributor to the media landscape.

“When I was approached by Broadway Video last year, I quickly saw how deep the talent ran there,” says Cantwell. With the changing media landscape, I saw an opportunity to leverage Broadway Video’s other verticals into new, creative - and fun - solutions for clients.

“The media landscape is changing rapidly and all of us mus adapt in kind,” she continues. “One might assume that a legacy brand would sit on its successes of 40 years, but I’ve been impressed with Broadway Video’s commitment to moving the needle forward. While great storytelling is still held in high regard, our new ‘branding + creative’ department weaves a brand-focused, strategic threat throughout all of our offerings. With things line branded content becoming the norm in our industry, combining our decades-long expertise in brand strategy and storytelling sets us apart in the industry.”
