NEW YORK — Boutique audio post production company, Heard City (heardcity.com), has appointed Jackie James executive producer of its Brooklyn location. She will be charged with growing the company’s current client base and fostering new relationships.
James has more than seven years of experience spanning visual effects, virtual reality, animation and audio. After graduating from Texas Christian University, she began her career in production at Reel FX in Dallas, working in business development. Most recently, she was post producer and director of development at Dig It Audio, Inc.
Heard City was founded in New York City in 2012 and opened its Brooklyn office in 2016.
“Jackie has the extensive industry experience and collaborative attitude that we cherish,” says Gloria Pitagorsky, partner and managing director of Heard City. “When we were introduced, we immediately hit it off and I knew that she’d be a great addition.
