LOS ANGELES — Visual Data Media Services (www.visualdatamedia.com) has appointed Tal Fiala VP of sales, responsible for sourcing and managing all strategic relationships for the Los Angeles headquartered facility. Visual Data Media Services has offices in Los Angeles and London, and specializes in the repurposing and distribution of content for all media outlets, including domestic syndication, network broadcast, international distribution and VOD for studios, distributors and platforms.
Fiala joins a team of six, and will work to expand the business across all areas of the post production and distribution supply chain, from creative finishing and restoration through to VOD. He was most recently president of Hollywood-based facility Illuminate Studios, and has also worked as a consultant to multiple businesses in production and post production facilities. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of business development for Modern VideoFilm, where he secured millions of dollars in revenue for the company’s features, television and distribution areas.
Fiala’s career also includes time as vice president of sales for Ascent Media (a Liberty Media company) from 2003 to 2007.
