Boxx recognized with Nvidia award, showcases solutions at NAB

LAS VEGAS – Boxx Technologies has been recognized with the Americas 2017 Nvidia Partner Network (NPN) Professional Visualization Partner of the Year Award at the 2018 Nvidia GPU Technology Conference (GTC). In related news, Boxx is showcasing multiple Nvidia Quadro hardware solutions and more inside booth #SL14208 at the 2018 NAB Show, April 9-12, in Las Vegas.

The Nvidia Partner Network honors Boxx Technologies for its performance over the past year and level of growth in professional visualization achieved in North America. Boxx was one of Nvidia’s first Quadro workstation partners in 2001.

At the NAB Show, Boxx is demonstrating APEXX S3, the world’s fastest workstation, running Cinema 4D, Autodesk 3ds Max and Adobe CC. Featuring up to three Nvidia Quadro GPUs and an 8th generation, six-core Intel Core i7 professionally overclocked to 4.8GHz, APEXX S3 provides outstanding performance for 3D design and VFX workflows. APEXX S3 will be joined by the world’s thinnest, lightest, VR-ready mobile workstation, GoBOXX SLM VR, featuring a new NVIDIA Quadro P4000 GPU. GoBOXX SLM VR allows users to create stunning, seamless virtual reality experiences.

In addition to these systems, Boxx is demonstrating APEXX T3, a desktop workstation featuring a 16-core, AMD Ryzen Threadripper processor. Ideal for Cinema 4D, Adobe CC, 3ds Max, Maya and V-Ray, APEXX T3 also supports up to three professional Nvidia GPUs.

Also on hand is the APEXX W8R, a GPU-dense server specifically designed to accelerate GPU-rendering. With support for up to eight professional, dual-width Nvidia Quadro graphics cards, APEXX W8R brings maximum compute density to a single server.

Throughout NAB, Boxx solutions can also be found at additional exhibitor booths including AMD booth # SL8224, where the semiconductor manufacturer is partnering with Avid to demo AVID Media Composer on an APEXX 4 workstation equipped with multiple AMD Radeon Pro WX 9100 GPUs.
