Bret Harris to lead business development at Legwork

DENVER — Legwork (www.legworkstudio.com) recently hired Bret Harris to lead business development at the creative studio. Harris is an entrepreneur and business development strategist who maintains a passion for working with companies that are positively impacting the world. Legwork applies animation and technology to create memorable stories and experiences for advertising, entertainment and education. 

With nearly two decades spent in high growth tech startups, Harris has worked with some of the nation's largest athletic governing bodies and Fortune 500s. In 2012 he founded PaddleFest, a professional paddleboard race and event festival in partnership with the non-profit Urban Surf 4 Kids to help raise funds for foster youth. He also served as head of business development at Indiegogo, where he focused on establishing innovative partnerships with global leaders such as Ingram Micro, Target, Amazon, Vimeo and Arrow Electronics to provide necessary resources and support to help entrepreneurs bring their projects to life. In his new role, Harris will focus on proactively finding and developing new business opportunities while providing feedback and guidance on the company’s overall growth strategy.
