DALLAS — Katherine Harper was recently named vice president of operations and marketing at Charlieuniformtango (www.charlieuniformtango.com). The studio serves as a single source production solution, offering directing, production, shooting, editing, scoring, mixing, animation, design, VFX and color services.
Harper’s 16 years of experience as a marketing and public relations executive include work in branding, communications and strategic marketing. for top global brands. A native Texan, she graduated with honors from Southern Methodist University with degrees in business and Spanish. Harper received the Richard C. Leach International Marketing Award and moved to London in 2002 to work for HIT Entertainment on its portfolio of global children's brands, including Barney the Dinosaur, Bob the Builder and Thomas the Tank Engine. After returning to Dallas, she continued to work for HIT in publicity and marketing communications. In 2007, she transitioned to the production and post production side of the business as director of marketing for Reel FX. She was promoted to head of marketing and communications in 2011. After leaving Reel FX in 2016, she worked as a consultant for top commercial and entertainment industry clients in Dallas/Ft Worth, as well as on her own film projects.
