LOS ANGELES — Georgiy Kuznetsov (Gosha), an acomplished 3D designer and director, has joined Method Studios as creative director in Los Angeles. Gosha has designed and created moving imagery for spots, Websites and marketing campaigns for the likes of Apple, Facebook, Oreo, Campbell’s Soup, IBM and Lexus. He was most recently design director at ManvsMachine, and prior to that, was a motion graphics designer and 3D artist at Hue and Cry and The Martin Agency.
“Gosha is a fine artist at heart but also totally versed in CG pipelines, look dev, lighting and animation,” says Stuart Robinson, Method Studios’ MD and EVP, North American advertising production. “That mix of traditional design and VFX knowledge makes for fantastic client engagements and conversations; he not only sees the path from vision to execution, he has his own vision as well. The studio has created work for Facebook, Apple, GE, Ford and Nike, as well as title sequences for 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool 2, Netflix’s Godless, and FX Network’s American Horror Story.
