Editors' Lounge to present evening of Blackmagic Design tools

BURBANK, CA — On Friday, April 27th, the Editors’ Lounge will present a night dedicated to the latest version of Blackmagic Design’s DaVinci Resolve 15, which now features Fusion VFX tools integrated within it. The event will be held at AlphaDogs Post Production (1612 W. Olive Ave. Suite 200, Burbank, CA 91506), with presentations beginning at 7:00pm.

Blackmagic Design announced DaVinci Resolve 15 at NAB 2018. Demonstrations will highlight new, fully integrated visual effects and motion graphics tools, as well as tools for offline and online editing, color correction, audio post production, and multi user collaboration.

The new Fusion page has over 250 tools for compositing, paint particles, animated titles and more. Fusion - initially developed by Eyeon Software - is an advanced 2D and 3D compositing VR and motion graphics software application that features a toolset for paint, rotoscope, titling, animation, keying, 3D particles, as well as support for import and rendering 3D models.

DaVinci Resolve 15 also includes a major update to Fairlight audio, along with over 100 new features and improvements that professional editors and colorists have asked for. Now, professional audio post production is fully integrated into a single application that gives sound editors, colorists, and video editors the tools they need to seamlessly collaborate when creating film and television shows. New Fairlight features in DaVinci Resolve 15 include automatic dialogue replacement, fixed playhead, audio and video scrollers, Native Audio plug-ins, normalization and a sound library database.

Attendees will also have a hands-on opportunity with Blackmagic’s line of cinema cameras, including the Ursa Mini Pro and the new Pocket Cinema Camera 4K that was announced at NAB. To register for the event, visit:
