MIAMI — Javier Mendez has been appointed head of business development at international reseller Nacho Mazzini Family (www.nachomf.com), where he is tasked with spearheading new North American sales for Colorfront (www.colorfront.com), the developer of high performance, on-set dailies and transcoding systems.
NMF, which operates from offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Miami, FL, is the exclusive reseller for Colorfront products across Latin America and selected US regions, and the distributor and reseller channels driver in Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA). Colorfront products include dailies and on-set dailies systems, as well as the Transkoder file-conversion and mastering system.
Mendez brings extensive workflow experience to NMF in support of Colorfront sales and marketing. He draws from hands-on knowledge gained during his previous 12-year tenure at CineSys Inc., as a certified trainer in Autodesk’s M&E division products, and as an Apple certified support professional. He will now focus on developing NMF’s array of post production, OTT and broadcast markets, and assist Colorfront customers in their delivery of high-quality content to entertainment corporations.
Mendez is based out of Miami, and will cover Canada as well as the United States, with the exception of California, where Colorfront is represented by Alt Systems. Colorfront’s US customers include Deluxe, Technicolor, Disney, Fox, Sony, HBO, Warner Bros., Netflix and Amazon.
