NEW YORK CITY — Clare O’Brien has joined Alkemy X (www.alkemy-x.com) as vice president of business development. She comes to the fully-integrated production studio from Chimney, where she was head of sales. Prior to that, she held a sales role at Humble TV. She has also led sales efforts at Postal TV and Sonic Union, and worked as a post producer at QuietMan.
O’Brien will be based out of the company’s New York studio and will work to help forge new business relationships with like-minded companies that are seeking high impact content, nationally and internationally.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to build a career that focuses entirely on relationships,” says O’Brien. “That’s what I'm passionate about - people. O’Brien says she was intrigued by Alkemy X’s ability to partner with creative teams to deliver high-end original content. The studio, which specializes in branded and episodic content, is capable of taking projects from concept through delivery, including live action, design, visual effects and post.
