SANTA CLARA, CA — The Advanced Imaging Society and SMPTE are partnering to present the Entertainment Technology Conference, which will take place in Silicon Valley this June. The two-day event is set for June 5th and 6th at the Santa Clara Marriot and will follow the theme, “The Art and Science of Next Generation Storytelling”.
ET’19 will feature more than 50 presenters, who will discuss next generation media uses and challenges for AI, cloud creative, 5G, OTT streaming, content security, volumetric capture, virtual production, light field cinematography, IP management, auto processing and workstation collabiration, to name just a few topics.
In celebration of their 80th Anniversary, HP will host the opening-night reception on Wednestday at their historic headquarters, where attendees can enjoy food and drink with conference colleagues. On Thursday night, Dolby is sponsoring a VIP preview screening of the new X-Men movie, Dark Phoenix.
