Gramercy Park Studios appoints new head of CGI

LONDON — Gramercy Park Studios (www.gramercyparkstudios.com) has appointed Cesar Eiji Nunes head of CGI.  A native of Brazil, Nunes got his start 15 years ago after graduating with a degree in graphic design. He has since gone on to work with MPC, Passion Pictures and Nexus. Some of his credits include work for Jack Daniels, Huawei, Compare the Market, Toyota, Anchor Cheese, Nike and Rockband.

Gramercy Park Studios offers VFX, color grading, design, editing, sound design and production services under one roof.

“We’re very much looking to ensure that the CG department expands on the great work we’ve been doing over the past six years,” explains Richard Ireland, managing director at Gramercy Park Studios. “Cesar is a very talented CG artist who has a natural storytelling ability. His experience as a creative director and supervisor, paired with his passion for all aspects of the creative process, will be key to the department’s development. We’re in no doubt that he’ll provide an invaluable creative depth to our team and the company.”

“I’m really looking forward working with Richard and the team to expand and solidify the impressive offering they have here,” adds Nunes. “I want to push for more creative excellence and ever-more exciting projects and ways of approaching them.”
