Meta Fide debuts helper apps for Resolve Studio

LOS ANGELES — Igor Riđanović has started small software company called Meta Fide that develops DaVinci Resolve helper applications. He recently introduced his first release — Projector — which accelerates the setup of complex projects and ingests commonly used media assets. The tool is well suited for use in environments with frequent artist handover, where it's necessary to use standard bin names. Advanced users will appreciate the command line API, which makes it possible to trigger the DaVinci Resolve project creation and media imports from third-party apps.

And with April Fools' Day approaching, The @ Button is a fun new app that can be used to play pranks. The free app transports the DaVinci Resolve gallery stills to the dawn of the computing age by converting them to ASCII art. Users can copy the pure text representation of their image and paste it into emails to clients, etc.

Both desktop apps are compatible with Linux, MacOS and Windows DaVinci Resolve systems.
