LOS ANGELES — Promedia Training (www.protoolstraining.com) will present multi-day Avid Pro Tools training workshops in both June and July. In Las Vegas, from June 7th to 14th, there will be an eight-day Pro Tools Training + Mixing studio workshop. Promedia is combining its six-day Pro Tools Training Workshop with a two-day Mixing Workshop, to create the eight-day-long studio experience.
In addition to the Pro Tools Training and Certification course, Grammy-winning mixing engineer John Frye will host a Mixing Masterclass. The two-day course will cover fundamental mixing techniques and workflow, as well as allow participants to get direct feedback on their mixes. Frye has mixed many hit records for artists such as Usher, Lil John, Ludacris and Outkast. This hands-on workshop will allow participants to get personal insight and knowledge directly from him.
From July 12th to 17th, Promedia will present a Pro Tools Training workshop in Los Angeles. Participants can learn Pro Tools and be eligible for Avid Certification. The six-day, hands-on workshop will consist of a small group of no more than five people, and will offer each participant their own Pro Tools systems, along with course materials. Attendees will also receive a sample library to take home, along with all the Avid Pro Tools books and testing materials.
