Varick Rosete promoted to chief design officer/principal at TigerLily

JACKSONVILLE, FL — TigerLily (www.wearetigerlily.com) has promoted Varick Rosete to chief design officer and principal. Rosete previously spent more than a decade as art director at the creative and production studio. His visual storytelling credits span design, illustration and video, having worked with FIS, GE, Capital One, TIAA and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In his new role, Rosete will work closely with TigerLily CEO/founder Brenda Kolb and chief creative officer/principal Andrew Fallon to help move the company forward while implementing new processes and innovations to keep TigerLily at the forefront of design and animation.

“Knowing and working alongside Varick for 10-plus years has truly been a gift,” says Kolb. “Time and again, we’re awed by his tireless dedication to pushing his craft, our people and our clients forward. He’s a real champion of exceptional design, which is at the heart of what we do. His appointment as a member of our executive team is a testament to his leadership within TigerLily.”

Rosete co-founded interactive upstart nGen Works in 2003, serving as creative director until 2009. During this time, he became an active member of AIGA, and as president of the Jacksonville chapter (2009-2011), he championed the growth and development of the design community, both locally and nationally.

Shortly after, he co-founded the collaborative community hotspot CoWork Jax and co-created the World's Crowdfunding Festival, One Spark, an event that celebrated and supported local creators and entrepreneurs. In 2015, Rosete and his designer wife co-founded Wolf & Cub, a boutique store in Downtown Jacksonville. Joining TigerLily in 2012 signaled a culmination of all of his passions and legacy as a designer, illustrator, animator and creative leader.
