September 12, 2005

Compatible with Panther OSX, Final Cut Pro HD and the G5 series of workstations, SD|Spark offers 10-/12-bit SD SDI I/O, 12-bit analog component, composite, s-video I/O, a built in A/D and D/A converter, DV, DVC Pro, DVC Pro 50, Photo JPEG I/O, two channels of balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog audio, embedded audio I/O and 8 channels of SP/DIF audio I/O for monitoring 5.1 surround sound from inexpensive consumer digital audio devices.

The SD|Spark supports Final Cut Pro HD's RT Extreme architecture, enabling realtime playback of effects such as three-way color correction, additive dissolves and cross dissolves eliminating the need to render. The card supports any Apple QuickTime-compatible application, such as Shake, Combustion, Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. Digital Voodoo says it is committed to supporting future operating system releases, QuickTime releases, Final Cut Pro releases and workstation releases from Apple as free driver upgrades for SD|Spark.
