Glyph tweaks image, intros Triplicator
September 12, 2010
AMSTERDAM — Storage provider Glyph Technologies (www.glyphtech.com) is refreshing its image with a name change that plays up the company’s broad appeal. Glyph Production Technologies is targeting every market that supports the production of professional images and sound directly to data, explains director of marketing Peter Glanville.

“GPT is more than a new logo and a new branding effort,” he notes “We’re retargeting our strengths in live tech support, innovative product designs, comprehensive unit testing by US technicians and then best warranty in the industry.”

GPT’s first new product is the Triplicator, an appliance that’s designed to make multiple, simultaneous copies of a data set. Triplicator allows for easily connecting two or three target hard drives via eSATA device ports and then connecting to a host computer via FireWire 800, USB or eSATA. Triplicator presents the multiple target drives as one drive. When a copy is finished, identical data will be presented on the target drives without the user having to create separate copies. Drives can be used for editing, archiving or back up.
